Finally, a bright, sunny Spring Day

We are having a gorgeous day here in southwestern Ontario,  Spring at last!  I even noticed a few daffodils  in the garden earlier this morning.

This little bear has been waiting patiently for me to sew her.  I cut out a few bears weeks ago but just didn't find the inspiration to start on her.  So this week, while watching some old movies, I worked on her and I am so pleased with how she turned out.  The colors suit her beautifully and her little face is sweet and innocent.
Her name is Mia, she is approximately 3 inches standing and she is available for adoption under Available Bears.  Mia has been adopted, thank you.

Bear Babies

Two beary babies, made from mohair, Lindi and Zeko.

While it seems the whole of the northern hemisphere is enjoying Spring, we had an ice storm, power outages and some more snow over the last few days. Surrounding myself with little bears keep me from missing happy, sunny days.  Summer will be here soon enough and once the gardening season starts there will be no more time for bear making.

Lindi has already found a new home.  Zeko is available for adoption under Available Bears
Don't you like their sweet expressions?

A Very Unhappy Little Baby

I cannot help smiling every time I look at these two babies.  The little one looks like he is constantly on the verge of throwing a tantrum. Such a funny expression.
